The most important tourist information about Mirleft, Sidi Ifni and El Kezira Beach - Morocco
Mirleft is a small Berber town where the ocean meets the mountains, simplicity meets magic and where time stops running. A visit to Mirleft, the beautiful tourist city, or a visit to Morocco in general, will awaken you indescribable feelings. Mirleft is an amazing place that you won't be able to get away from after your first visit.
The city is very quiet. Many French and Germans came to visit it in the late 1980s and chose to call it The Witch, investing in it and building hotels, restaurants and guest houses.
Only two hours south of Agadir there is the city of Mirleft, taking advantage of the beautiful and refreshing weather all year round,
Sidi Ifni is the perfect place for all lovers of relaxation. A Berber city full of history and humility. Sidi Ifni was the last city that Morocco recovered from Spanish colonialism in 1969. As soon as you enter the city, you feel calm and relaxed and that comes from the locals who will welcome you very much! This is the habit of Moroccans as a whole. You will hear Spanish music around every corner. Cafés full of energetic young people watching football matches, especially the Spanish Football League matches. It is no wonder that Spain colonized this town in the past.
The alluring architecture captivates visitors and tourists. Sidi Ifni tells his story in the pale white and blue walls, artistic doors and the stunning mountain town.
Things to do while visiting Mirleft
Mirleft is a good place to go if you really want to relax and calm stay in this town for longer or if you want to explore more then move to the neighboring towns!

Things to do in Sidi Ifni
Sidi Ifni is a small town but you can choose to live yourself in either of these two places and take a day trip to either of them. If you visit Sidi Ifni, here are some things to do;
Mediavine
Pack your bag, I mean the backpack, and go to the coast
- Take a day trip to the amazing Legzira Beach
Walking in the old city of Sidi Ifni
- Look at the old Spanish town
Don't miss the chance to ride the magical waves
- If you are there on Saturday, visit the weekly market.
The charming beaches of Mirleft and Sidi Avni
There are many beautiful beaches in the area. Having your own transportation will make it easier to access. Most of these beaches do not have lifeguards so you should be aware especially when traveling with children. It is also worth noting that the tides are high and the weather is general. It can be very windy in this area causing raging waves.
Algecira is one of the local beaches we visited and easy to get to and I felt so happy to go there. There are a few other beaches frequented by surfers looking for more adventurous waves. Ask the locals for specific instructions on how to get to these places!
Information about Lixera Beach
This beach is most famous for its giant stone arches (which are really cool). One of them collapsed in 2018, but the remaining arc is still amazing. The beach itself is spacious with plenty of room to spread out. There are some great places to sit and look directly at the beach.
Emin Torga Beach
This is the closest beach to the city proper. There are two ways to access it; Either from the road if you have your own vehicle or there are a set of stairs that lead from the top of the cliffs to the water. This is a beautiful beach for an early morning walk, or to go fishing. In the afternoon it is full especially when the weather is nice.
Marabout Beach
Honestly, our kids said this beach looks like something like a movie scene and I have to admit it's a magical beach! With the rocks jutting out and the mosque right on the beach, it is a great place to visit. The beach itself is quite small and a little rocky in places.
